Mahatama Gandhi
Mahatama Gandhi has also written about the unexplainable and unbearing sacrifices of Sikhs during the Morcha of ‘Guru De Bagh’.
He writes, “courageous Sikhs have won the first battle for freedom of India, they have raised the dignity of the whole nation.
Mahatama Gandhi sent a telegram to Baba Khadak Singh on 7 January 1922 in which he writes about the historic tragedy of Nankana Sahib. Gandhi writes that this is the peak example of intolerable brutality of British Government and the tragedy of Guru Ka Bagh was even much bigger than that.
